Introduction

Welcome to Nava Beauty Salon.
By booking a service or purchasing a product through our website or in-store, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clarity, respect, and fairness for both you and our team.

Services & Appointments

  • Appointments can be booked online through Fresha or directly at our salon.
  • A 10% deposit is required to confirm your appointment.
  • The remaining balance can be paid at the salon after your service.

We ask that you arrive on time for your appointment so we can provide you with the best experience possible.

Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your booking.
  • Cancellations made within less than 24 hours may result in the deposit being forfeited.
  • If you do not attend your appointment (no-show), the deposit will not be refunded.
  • Repeat no-shows may require full prepayment for future bookings.

We understand emergencies happen please contact us directly, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your situation.

Services for Minors

We happily welcome clients under 18 years old, but certain treatments may require parental or guardian consent. We reserve the right to decline a service if proper consent is not provided.

Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
  • They can be used for services.
  • Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced, so please keep them safe.

Product Purchases

All products sold (online or in-store) are clearly described and priced in NZD, including GST.
By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided (address, contact details, etc.) is accurate.
Products remain the property of Nava Beauty Salon until full payment is received.

Payments

We accept secure payments through:

  • Fresha – for salon bookings and deposits.
  • Stripe – for online product orders.

All online transactions are encrypted and processed through secure third-party gateways.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

  • For services, payments and deposits are generally non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances (such as a booking error on our part).
  • For products, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy page for detailed conditions.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be handled fairly and in line with New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act.

Health & Safety

Please inform your therapist of any allergies, medical conditions, or recent procedures that may affect your treatment.
We prioritise hygiene and safety all tools and spaces are sanitised between clients.

At Nava Beauty Salon, we truly care about your comfort and wellbeing. Before your treatment begins, please let your therapist know if you have any allergies, skin sensitivities, medical conditions, or if you’ve recently had any skincare or cosmetic procedures. This helps us tailor your service safely and ensure you get the best results.

We take hygiene seriously all our tools, beds, and spaces are carefully cleaned and sanitised after every client. Wherever possible, we use disposable or freshly sterilised equipment to keep everything safe and spotless.

Your health and safety matter to us as much as your beauty experience. If there’s anything that can make your visit more comfortable, please don’t hesitate to share we’re always happy to help.

Liability

While every care is taken during treatments, Nava Beauty Salon will not be held liable for allergic reactions, unexpected skin responses, or issues arising from undeclared conditions or aftercare non-compliance.
We recommend patch tests where relevant.

Photos & Social Media

Before and after photos may be taken with your written consent only. These may be used on our social media or website to showcase results.

Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy, which complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

Online Store Terms

Our website runs on WordPress, and our online shop uses secure plugins like WooCommerce and Stripe for orders and payments.
By using our website, you agree to the following:

  • Order Accuracy:
    Ensure all billing, delivery, and contact details are correct before submitting an order. Nava Beauty Salon is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information.

     

  • Payment Security:
    Payments are securely processed through Stripe. We do not have access to your full payment details.

     

  • Pricing & Availability:
    All prices are in NZD and include GST. We may update or discontinue items without prior notice if required.

     

  • Website Content:
    We strive for accurate product descriptions and images, but slight variations in packaging or presentation may occur.

     

  • Account Protection:
    If you create an account on our website, please keep your login details confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
